Assignment 2 Niche ident: Horror channel ‘Car ident’ The Horror channel is a channel that doesn’t have to work on a remit that is focusing on public service broadcasting so it means that they can focus on profit and then because of this it would mean that they are free to target a specific as they would be aiming for a specific group of people. Another reason is because this is an ident that is for a specific target audience it means that the overall creativity will be severely limited because it will mean that they have to make the idents specific to the audience that they are targeting, which in this case means has to be based around horror, because not having ident that would be relevant will mean that the target audience might be confused about the channel that they have clicked on.
